POTTERY CANDY

Wedding Anniversary Gifts- Easy and Affordable
Weddings are joyful occasions. It is a time when two people bond together in marriage to form a lasting relationship. Wedding anniversaries are yearly celebrations in remembrance of that special occasion. We celebrate wedding anniversaries in various ways. Renewal of wedding vows, candle light dinners and gift giving are just some of the ways we celebrate our wedding anniversaries.
But what is an appropriate gift to give for an anniversary? In 1922, Emily Post suggested traditional gifts for the first 15 yearly wedding anniversaries and gifts for every 5 year anniversaries thereafter. Gifts for the early wedding anniversaries tend to be inexpensive and rather practical while gifts for the later wedding anniversaries tend to be more elaborate and expensive.

POTTERY CANDY Q & A
What to buy in Oaxaca?
My boss is going to Oaxaca, MX next week for 2 weeks with his church. They’re going to help build a school over there. I wanted to give him money to bring me items from over there. What do you recommend besides keychains. Candies, pottery, jewelry? Anything unique? My budget is $100
Pedro,
Actually we live in the border with Cd Juarez, and we usually buy Coca Cola, but you’re right about the bread. Know that you mentioned it, what do you call that bread that they sell at “Ferias” in Mexico, They usually make it big and they add some type of candy(jelly like, with sugar) on top? some have raisins and pecans.
Black pottery,
textiles
there are many other things very typical of Oaxaca, but I really like the hand woven wall hangings.
The black pottery is also nice, but it doesn’t always travel well.
