True Story: Louis Tiffany and His Mosaic Glass Works
Do you know the man Louis Comfort Tiffany? Have you heard of his story? I bet you haven’t. He played the leading role in the campaign of Art Nouveau and he was most famous for his talented skills of making mosaic glasses, which can not only be used on shades but also on windows, doors and other things. Today real works of his are being scrambled by a lot of art museums and aution companies. Though expensive still, what we all can see in daily life are just fakes and copies.
If someone describes children from rich families as “growing up with the golden spoon in his mouth” then the spoon in Louis Comfort Tiffany’s mouth should be the most valuable and beautiful one because his father was exactly the owner of the shop Tiffany &Co., Charles Lewis Tiffany.
Louis loved painting since he was very young, and had a marvelous talent for that. His father however intended him to enter the politics, and sent him into the military school. Unfortunately he had no interest in the military classes and devoted himself into painting. As many other fathers, his father was sad he did not enter the politics but he supported the son just the same. And during this time he met the famous painter George Inness.
In the late 1800s, Paris was still the center of art worldwidely. Having an international idea of business, Charles found a jewlery dealer Gideon Reed as the partner to set up the shop, and hired Edward More as the designer. Little Louis regarded Edward as the teacher and learned from him knowledge of designing, knowledge about religion and about oriental art works. Little Louis wanted to be a painter but in this perfect family background, taught by the top teacher in the field of jewlery, he finally turned designer.
Under the instructions of More, Louis won a lot of rewards in designing exhibitions all around the world. At first he took part in the contests using his paintings but in 1872, he tried to make glasses works. In 1876 he finished his first mosaic glass window.

Can glass works itw way out of your foot on its own???
hello, for about 2 weeks now I feel like something is in my right foot and today it feels like its in ANOTHER area of my foot..I cant find any opening at all. Nothing that I can see if it was glass…What can i do ? will the glass work its way out on its own eventually?
Also, if your foot feels like there is somthing inside is this a sign if diabetes ? please, iam worried since I cant find an opening if it was glass or not but I DID break a glass in the dishwasher about one month ago, so Im not sure..
Please help, now it feels like it in the SOFT part of my foot ( on the side part )

Yes glass can work its way out of the body whenever it gets the chance. Try this to see if what is bothering you is not glass but plantar fasciitis, an irritation of one of the layers of tissue in the arch or heel area of the foot. Do this movement from either a long sitting position or lying on the back. Keep the knees straight and have the muscles of the feet pull the front of the feet up towards the knees. The only movement that will occur is at the ankles. Keep that pull up for about five seconds and then rest. Do that about five to ten times right before you go to bed at night and right before you get out of bed in the morning. If it is plantar fasciitis this will stop it. If it still continues then get it checked out. I am sure that if it was glass that you would have felt it entering the foot. Good luck!
