How do I clean silver and moonstone jewelry?
I have a necklace that I got years ago as a gift. The silver pendant has a small stone in the middle. It’s iridescent and a very pale color and I believe it’s moonstone, but for all I know it’s just sea glass or something. I need to clean the silver part (the gem cannot be separated from the silver backing, so I am hesitant to soak it in salt water) and I was wondering what the best, safest method would be?
